How does therapy work?
All of Holistic Therapeutic Services, PLLC are conducted online, we use a HIPPA compliant platform called TheraPlatform, to conduct video sessions with you in the comfort of your home. This may seem like a strange way to do therapy as we always think of therapy as sitting on the couch chatting directly face to face with someone, but doing therapy online is actually beneficial in many ways. This also allows us to provide therapy at a reduced rate as we do not have to have staff at an office, just a therapist. Your therapist will be in an office setting, and you can connect with them from anywhere.
~Online therapy eliminates the need to travel to an office, have a babysitter, miss time from work or school as you can schedule easily around that and have a session on your lunch period so it increases the likelihood that you will engage in therapy easier as you have less barriers thus giving you better outcomes for therapy.
Are you ready to start your process of healing, if so please take a peek at the book online tab and see if you can find a time that will work for you. Once you schedule an appointment you will get an email from our counselor with instructions of how to access our HIPPA compliant platform. You will complete your intake paperwork all online, including a digital signature. Once that has been completed you can instantly send a message to your counselor and they are notified that the paperwork is completed. Then you will log into Theraplatform when it is time for your session and you will be connected with your therapist.
